GROUND SPOILERS
- When the runway is vacated:
GND SPLRS | DISARM | PF |
EXTERIOR LIGHTS
During taxi, the PF may request the PM to set the exterior lights.
LAND SW | OFF | PF |
- When leaving the runway:
STROBE SW | OFF | PF |
NOSE sw | TAXI | PF |
- When crossing a runway:
STROBE SW | ON | PF |
OTHER EXTERIOR LIGHTS | AS RQRD PF | PF |
RADAR
RADAR | OFF | PF |
PREDICTIVE WINDSHEAR
PREDICTIVE WINDSHEAR SYSTEM | OFF | PF |
Switching the radar and predictive wind shear system OFF after landing avoids risk of radiating persons at the gate area.
ENG START SELECTOR
ENG START selector | NORM | PM |
FLAPS
FLAPS | RETRACT | PM |
- Set the FLAPS lever to 0.
- If the approach was performed in icing conditions, or if the runway was contaminated with slush or snow, do not retract the flaps until after engine shutdown, and after the ground crew confirmed that flaps and slats are clear of obstruction due to ice.
- On ground, hot weather conditions may cause overheating to be detected around the bleed ducts in the wings, resulting in AIR L(R) WING LEAK alert. Such warnings may be avoided during transit by keeping the slats in CONF 1, when the OAT is above 30 °С.

TCAS | STBY | PM |
ATC
ATC | AS RQRD | PM |
ATC is set in accordance with airport requirements.
APU
APU MASTER SW pb-sw | ON | PM |
APU START pb | ON | PM |
Note: APU start may be delayed until before engine shutdown.
Before the flight crew shuts down the engines, they must check that the AVAIL light of the APU START pb is on.
ANTI ICE
CAUTION In icing conditions (LIM-ICE_RAIN), the flight crew must turn on the engine anti-ice and should not wait until seeing ice building up.
ENG ANTI ICE | AS RQRD | PM |
If engine anti-ice is used, carefully control taxi speed, particularly on wet or slippery surfaces because ground idle is increased.
BRAKE
BRAKE TEMPERATURE | MONITOR | PM |
- Check the brake temperature for discrepancies and high temperature on the WHEEL SD page
- Maintenance action is due in the following cases:
- The temperature difference between two brakes of a gear is more than 150 °C, and the temperature of one of these brakes is above or equal to 600 °C, or
- The temperature difference between two brakes of a gear is more than 150 °C, and the temperature of one of these brakes is below or equal to 60 °C, or
- The difference between the average temperature of the left gear brakes and right brakes is above or equal to 200 °C, or
- The temperature of one brake exceeds 800 °C.
BRAKE FAN pb-sw | AS RQRD | PM |
When the turnaround time is short or if the temperature of any brake is likely to exceed 500 °C, use the brake fans without delay. In other cases, the flight crew would delay brake fans selection to 5 min after landing, or approaching the gate, whichever occurs first. FCTM/PR-NP-SOP-270
AFTER LANDING CHECKLIST
AFTER LANDING C/ L | COMPLETE | PF-PM |
Ensure that the after-landing checks are completed after the aircraft cleared the runway.
